IPL 2020 surely seems to be creating more buzz even before the first ball has hit the pitch. IPL 2020 was already making headlines with uncertain sponsorship details, Chennai Super King (CSK) allrounder Suresh Raina has decided to not play for the tournament due to “personal reasons”.
CSK’s twitter handle was seen quoting CEO Kasi Viswanathan stating “Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time”.
Raina is soon to return to India from UAE and was a key player in the CSK squad. This news is surely disheartening for many considering Raina had just a few weeks prior on 15th August 2020 announced his retirement from international cricket along with his good pal and the current CSK captain M.S. Dhoni.

As of now, a minimum of 10 members of the camp have yielded positive tests leading to an extension in their quarantine period till September 1 and are currently stationed in Dubai, UAE. This is the first amongst the eight teams that will be seen on the field in IPL 2020.
